Connect your WhatsApp number
Link the number your customers already write to by scanning a QR code.
Before you start
Have the phone with your business number at hand, with WhatsApp open and internet access. Read the QR connection risks first: linking by QR is not the official WhatsApp API.
Steps
- Open Channels and choose Add number.
- Give the number a name your team will recognize and pick the default assistant.
- Choose Show QR code.
- On the phone, open WhatsApp, go to Linked devices and scan the code.
- Wait until the status says Connected.
If the phone is not with you
Use Copy connect link and send it to whoever holds the phone. The page shows the QR code and works for a limited time.
