Send a consent to sign on the phone

The patient reads and signs on their phone with a verification code, and you get the signed PDF.

Prepare the template

In Settings, Health, review the consent templates. The ready-made ones are references: review them with your doctor and your lawyer before using them. Variables are filled in with each patient's details.

Send it

  1. Open Patients and go to the patient's record.
  2. Go to the Consents tab and choose Send consent.
  3. Choose the document and how to send it: WhatsApp, email or copy the link only.
  4. Choose Send. The link expires in 48 hours.

What the patient sees

They open the link, read the document and sign after confirming a verification code. Only the link travels over WhatsApp, never clinical content, and it goes out between 09:00 and 20:00.

Once they sign, the status changes to Signed and you download the signed PDF from the same tab.
