Take over a chat from the assistant
Step in when a customer needs a person, and hand the chat back when you are done.
Just reply
When you send a message from the inbox, the assistant pauses on that conversation for 30 minutes so you do not talk over each other.
Keep it longer
Choose Take over for 2 hours on the conversation to keep the assistant out for longer. The conversation shows as With a person while you are in charge.
Hand it back
When the pause ends, the assistant resumes. You can also choose Hand back to the assistant from the same menu.
